Beaver Creek’s signature Talon’s Challenge event returns March 3, 2012, tackling nearly 24,000 vertical feet and showcasing the mountain’s toughest 13 black and double-black diamond runs in one day. Participants return year after year and come from all over to earn a spot on the electronic wall of fame at Red Tail Camp. And now, Talons is a draw for young rippers, too. The new Talons Kids event will be held March 4, 2012. For details, visit http://www.beavercreek.com/events-and-activities/talons-challenge.aspx.
