Vail Mountain Summer 2017 Group Events & Weddings
Unique settings and magnificent views create unforgettable events. With stunning natural surroundings high in the mountains, Vail is the perfect place to host the perfect group event or wedding – small or large, indoor or outdoor, summer or winter!
Vail’s newest on-mountain table-service dining experience, The 10th, is available for group events and weddings for up to 200 people. The 10th is located at Mid-Vail on Vail Mountain and is accessed by Vail Village’s state-of-the-art Gondola One, complete with heated seats and Wi-Fi. The 10th is available for day or evening events, winter and summer. The more than 13,000 square-foot, ski-in, ski-out restaurant features a main dining room with spectacular views of the Gore Range, a cozy bar and lounge with fireplace, and a south-facing outdoor deck that captures the afternoon sun and views of the Look Ma and Challenge trails. The restaurant’s beautiful design and finishes befit its mountain location while still offering a bit of contemporary flair.
The Wedding Deck
A dream summer wedding in a dream summer setting. Celebrate a joyous union in the company of loved ones, warm sunshine and blue Colorado skies at Vail Mountain’s outdoor wedding deck. The stone amphitheater offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including Mount of the Holy Cross, and is the perfect venue for an outdoor ceremony with your sweetheart. The venue seats approximately 180 people with unlimited room for standing.
Game Creek Restaurant
Ride the Eagle Bahn Gondola to Eagle’s Nest where you’ll meet a shuttle for transportation to Game Creek Restaurant, located in an old-world chalet nestled within Vail’s Game Creek Bowl. The space is available for large or small private parties, weddings, and corporate dinners. It is truly a magical setting with exquisite cuisine and service.
Game Creek’s main dining room accommodates up to 140 guests, with views overlooking Game Creek Bowl and Beaver Creek Mountain. The Club Room is available for parties of 10 to 28 guests, and is located on the same level as the main dining room; this is the perfect setting for smaller groups seeking seclusion from the main dining room. The Club Room may be seated at the same time as the main dining room for additional seating. The third private dining option is The Bistro, located on a separate level from the main dining room, styled with rustic European charm, for parties of 30 to 60 guests. For groups exceeding 150 guests, The Bistro can also be seated to reach a 200 person capacity. www.gamecreekrestaurantvail.com.
The Marketplace at Eagle’s Nest
Located just off the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, the Marketplace is an indoor facility offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Gore Range. Ideal for larger groups and weddings, the Marketplace can accommodate up to 400 people. In addition to the indoor venue, the venue also boasts a beautiful outdoor deck where groups can enjoy pre-dinner cocktails.
Mountain Plaza, Vail Village
Nestled at the base of Vail Village and next door to Vail’s brand new Gondola One, Mountain Plaza offers indoor and outdoor event space right at the center of all the action on and off the mountain. Ideal for group luncheons, receptions and wedding rehearsals Express Lift can accommodate up to 50 people for a buffet or plated dinner, and up to 85 for a standing cocktail reception. Enjoy the outdoor patio in winter and take in the view of Pepi’s Face as skiers and snowboarders test their skills on Vail’s infamous run into the Village, or sip fresh cocktails and mingle outside amongst the stunning summer scenery.
