Vail Snow Daze – Dec. 9-15 2013
Not long after the annual start of the ski and snowboard season at Vail, early-season visitors can enjoy a week of live entertainment with free headliner concerts from Rebelution and opening act MiM0SA on Friday, Dec. 13 and Matisyahu plus an additional headliner TBA on Saturday, Dec. 14. Vail Holidaze - Dec. 20-22, and 31, 2013

Vail New Year’s Eve – Dec. 31, 2013
The biggest, the last, and one of Vail’s best parties of the year will include an epic performance by Mix Master Mike of the legendary Beastie Boys to help ring in the New Year at Dobson Arena. The 32nd Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships presented by MINI – March 5-8, 2014
The Burton US Open, which first took place in 1982, is the longest-running snowboarding competition in the world and draws the best riders to compete for a coveted US Open title. Returning to Vail in March of 2014, the US Open will be the first major snowboarding competition after the highly-anticipated Winter Olympics in Sochi. Taste of Vail – April 2-5, 2014
In its 24th year, the Taste of Vail is the nation's premier spring food and wine festival, held at several venues throughout North America's favorite ski resort. During the annual three-day event, upwards of 5,000 people are able to "taste the Vail Valley lifestyle" which showcases Vail's world-famous resort village set against dramatic mountain vistas. Pink Vail – April 5, 2014
Vail Mountain will become a sea of pink when everyday skiers and snowboarders gather in Vail for the return of a one-day event to raise awareness and funds to support cancer fighters. Pink Vail is the world’s largest ski day to conquer cancer and has proven to be on e of the most fun and colorful ski days of the year including live music, a celebration ski down, pink costumes and more. The 2013 event hosted over 1,300 skiers and riders and raised more than $330,000. Registration for Pink Vail 2014 will open on December 1, 2013 on www.pinkvail.com. There are no age limits or ability requirements to register. The minimum pledge amount needed to register for the event is $25 and a Vail Mountain ski pass or lift ticket is required for mountain access. Lodging specials will be available for those traveling from out of town or just looking for a fun and worthwhile escape in Vail.
Spring Back to Vail – April 11-13 and April 20, 2014
The “yang’ to the early-season “yin” of Vail Snow Daze, Spring Back to Vail, closes out the ski and snowboard season with free concerts from Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, STS9, and Steel Pulse. Closing day brings the annual World Pond Skimming Championships, a spectacle entailing floatable (and sometimes sinkable) athletes launching themselves off an on-snow jump onto an icy pond in attempt to successfully exit the pond on both feet.www.vail.com/springback
