Vail Mountain Terrain 100 Percent Open this Weekend with the Addition of the Golden Peak Terrain Park and Superpipe on Saturday

Following an incredible early season and more than 13 feet of snow so far this winter at Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, the resort reaches the 100 percent open mark this weekend with the opening of the Golden Peak Terrain Park and 22-foot superpipe on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Guests will now have access to all 5,289 acres of developed ski and snowboard terrain across Vail Mountain, including a variety of small, medium and large freestyle features at Golden Peak, home of the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships.
The Golden Peak Terrain Park features a new layout this year and more than 40 boxes and jib features, seven jumps from extra small to large, an extended family-cross course, and a mini halfpipe.
