Vail’s China Bowl Opens Early for the 2013-2014 Season

Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, was able to open portions of China Bowl this morning, following the opening of some terrain in Sun Up and Sun Down bowls yesterday. The openings came earlier than anticipated this week thanks to hard work from Vail Ski Patrol in preparing the terrain. The terrain can be accessed by the Sun Up Lift (#17), Orient Express Lift (#21) and Tea Cup Express Lift (#36).

Skiers and snowboarders can now enjoy more than 2,500 acres of terrain across Vail Mountain, accessible by 25 lifts.
